Hearing the Tortoise's invitation, the Rabbit confidently immediately agreed to the challenge of the competition. The Rabbit thought how the tortoise could beat him. After determining which path they will traverse for the race, the two of them wait for the next day for the race day.
The second match began with the referee led by a monkey. The rabbit had just started running very fast, leaving the tortoise far behind. Realizing that he would not win, the tortoise just stood still at the finish line. This is what the Rabbit does not know, that the animals throughout the forest have agreed to teach the rabbit who is known to be very, very arrogant.
The rabbit was almost at the finish line, but how surprised he was when he found out that the tortoise had reached the finish line first. Finally the rabbit went home embarrassed, and after that incident he was no longer arrogant towards the other animals.
So what lessons can we take from this short story of the Rabbit and the Tortoise: "Let's not be arrogant because of the strengths we have. It would be better if we use our strengths to help, not to humiliate others."
