After walking far enough, finally the chicken saw a field in which there was a very fertile corn plantation. Actually, he really wanted to eat the corn right away but he was afraid that the owner of the field would find out.
Finally, the chicken decided to wait a little longer. He wanted to watch the field first before he decided to enter the field. After a while of waiting it turned out that the field was uninhabited, and the chicken immediately took control of the field and ate the corn to its heart's content.
The abundance of food that the chicken had did not make him happy, he decided to go out for a while out of his farm. He wanted to go to the forest to meet his other friends.
After the rooster returned from the forest, how surprised he was when he saw in his field he saw a rabbit who was looking voraciously eating his corn. The chicken went straight to the rabbit, and said:
"Hey Rabbit!!!!! What are you doing in my field?? How delicious are you eating my corn?!!!" said the very angry chicken.
"What do you say chicken, your farm?? This is mine!!" Answer Rabbit.
The two of them did not want to budge, they continued to argue to admit whose farm actually belonged. Finally the rooster decided to take the rabbit to meet the lion, maybe the lion could help the rooster to decide who the real owner of the field was.
Finally the rooster and the hare went to meet the lion. After arriving at the lion's place, the lion looked very pleased with the presence of the rooster and the rabbit. The lion said to himself, "Ahahahahaa, what a coincidence that there is prey that I can eat. I happen to be very hungry!!"
Unfortunately, the rooster and the rabbit did not know that the lion had not received any food for the past few days, so that he became very wild, unlike the usual lion who can be wise because the lion is the king of the jungle who is often asked for his opinion because the lion is very wise.
The rooster tried to explain what was happening to the lion, but the lion pretended not to hear the rooster's story.
"What are you guys talking about??? I didn't hear it, come closer so I can hear you guys more clearly!!" asked the Lion.
After the two approached, finally the Chicken and Rabbit were pounced on by a hungry lion. Both of them became the lion's meal.
So what moral message can we take from the short story of the Child's Story of the Cunning Lion: "There's no point in arguing about things that don't really belong to us. If only we wanted to share then everything would be easier and better."
